Description :
Healthcare in Detention course aims to improve awareness of prison health in the society and stimulate the increase of qualified health personnel and experts working in prisons in Thailand and around the world.
The course addresses topics such as global challenges in places of detention, prison health and management systems, assessment of prisoners health status, access to health services, continuity of care, epidemiology of communicable and non-communicable diseases in prisons, nutrition, prison health and ethical challenges, planning, prison design, water and sanitation as well as vulnerable groups in prison population.
