Description : By mid May, the SARC Mobile Health Unit has provided more than 10,000 primary health care consultations and seen more than 2,000 first aid cases. 64% of the cases concerns children under four years old. The situation in Al-Hol camp is overwhelming and dire. The medical needs remains huge, including mother and child attention, surgery, mental health and physical rehabilitation. A particular concern is the large number of weapon-wounded patients who have limited access to surgical and post-surgical care.
