Description : The idea came from the second in command, who heard of the first aid training during church service. He decided to send two volunteer inmates as part of a rehabilitation programme. These two detainees were chosen because of the length of their sentences. One inmate, aged 21, has been in the Bekut correctional institution for three years and was sentenced to 15 years. The second inmate, 55 years old, has been there for five years and is serving a 25-year sentence. Two prison gards accompany the inmates to the first aid training and also take part in the training.
