Description : The ongoing conflict in southern areas of Chin State has caused thousands to flee their homes, seeking temporary shelter at various locations in Paletwa and Samee. The ICRC stayed in Samee for 3 days, supporting 728 families and the city’s hospital with a distribution of food and other essentials such as kitchen sets, mosquito nets, solar lamps and shelter kits. Displaced families there need special attention and care as they can’t return home and as harsh weather conditions are coming. The ICRC will return in Chine State soon, with additional donations.
