Description : Previously, she also volunteered for the Senegalese Red Cross Society, and was back then one of the first woman rescuer of the region, an activity eching her engagement for women's implication in the activites of the Senegalese Red Cross Society. On the 25ht of January 1993, while on mission with the Senegalese Red Cross Society, her vehicle was struck by a mine explosion. Six people died in the attack, and three were badly injured, but she came out unharmed. Today, she commits herself to the restoration of peace with other women.
