Description :
Between 2019 and 2020, five water ponds were renovated in Sittwe, allowing communities to have access to good quality water at all times. These renovations are part of a larger water and habitat program led by the ICRC and the Myanmar Red Cross Society, in partnership with Rakhine State authorities. This program also includes the installation of tube wells in different villages and displacement sites across Rakhine State, and a material assistance provided to families to build temporary latrines, kitchens and bathrooms for women as well as solar panels.
