Description : He explained to the ICRC the difficulties he has to face everyday: "My family lived by this river for generations. We couldn’t recognize the area upon our return a few years ago. This river, behind me, used to be so abundant that it was cited in poems. Now it’s just a ditch. The whole area is no longer adapted for living: we are surrounded by landmines and undiscovered human remains of soldiers who died during the battles of the 1980's. There is no electricity and no possibility to cultivate the land... But we have nowhere else to go."
