Description :
Ying Zung overcame an amputation after stepping on a landmine. As a person with disability, he also faced misperceptions by some clients on his capacity to fix motorcycles.
“They thought I couldn’t fix their motorcycles,” he remembers.
Like Ying Zung, the ICRC supports many people living with disabilities across Myanmar. Promoting social inclusion with incentives for small businesses is just one way.
