Description :
The Red Cross nutrition monitor, measures a child's height and arm circumference to determine whether the child might be malnourished and therefore in need of referral to a special therapeutic feeding centre being run by the British/Australian Red Cross in the camp. The nutrition monitor, himself a refugee from the fighting, acts as a vital link between Red Cross medical teams and camp residents.
