Description :
When Mzia and the rest of her village fled fighting in August 2008, her husband Vladimir decided to stay with some of the other men to try to protect their houses. When he finally had to leave because the fighting came close, he was killed by a rifle shot from a car. His friends dragged his body into the outhouse and then had to leave. The house was occupied by Russian military. Mzia would like to have her husband's body back to bury.
She has lived in this settlement for IDPs in Georgia since 30th of December 2008.
