Description :
The PIPOS Rehabilitation Services Project (PRSP) is an extension of PIPOS (Pakistan Institute of Prosthetic and Orthotic Sciences) It aims to provide high quality patient care by providing assistive devices and related services to all patients...PIPOS Rehabilitation Service Project in Peshawar and ICRC have signed a 5 year memorandum of understanding with intention of assisting PRSP Peshawar to grow to a centre of excellence contributing to quality service for physically disabled people...Each of the centres provides rehabilitation services including P&O services (Production of Prosthetic and Orthotic devices as well as maintenance of these devices) and Physiotherapy.The ICRC is providing financial and technical support. It also helps by training staff and providing free services to all patients coming to the centre from FATA and NWFP. A 2nd phase is planned when with assistance from ICRC the facilities will be extended to other PRSP centres throughout the Province.
