Description : The ICRC offers local people with spinal injuries a physiotherapy rehabilitation services project called Home Care Project. Its aims are to provide high quality patient care by providing physiotherapy, a rehabilitation service, assistive devices such as wheelchairs and standing frames as well as medical dressings, prescriptions and specialist referrals to all patients who have suffered spinal cord injuries. PIPOS (Pakistan I(Pakistan Institute of Prosthetic and Orthotic Sciences) in Peshawar and ICRC have signed a 5 years memorandum of understanding with intention of assisting PIPOS Rehabilitation Service in Peshawar to grow to a centre of excellence contributing to quality service for physical disabled people. Each of the centres provides Rehabilitation services including P&O services (Production of Prosthetic and Orthotic devices as well as maintenance of these devices) and physiotherapy ( for all patients in need of physiotherapy) .
