Description : The program manager for Police Forces for the ICRC Regional Delegation, and the Director of Community and Human Rights of the Military Police of São Paulo State Police, explain to a group of police officers visiting the exhibition a little about the history and procedures of the ICRC.

The exhibition is on display in Sao Paulo during April 2014. It consists of 63 historical and current photographs, plus videos and explanatory panels, illustrating some of the humanitarian relief operations done by the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, since ICRC’s foundation in 1863, until the present day. It also brings to the public an overview of humanitarian response and of the International Humanitarian Law (IHL) developments, which are constantly adapted to give a proper answer to the ever changing nature of armed conflict and other situations of violence around the world.
