Description :
The ICRC supports local associations running "listening house", where victims can get counselling and further orientation, such as referral to medical facilities. The ICRC trains the psychosocial workers to give them and the teams in charge of heightening the communities' awareness of the problems of violence tools and skills to welcome and orientate victims of violence due to the conflict (including sexual violence) who seek help in the structure. It involves role-play, everyone having the chance to act as victim or counsellor.
