Description :
To raise awareness and prevent child recruitment, as well as to ease the return of former child soldiers into their families, the ICRC holds dissemination sessions to the communities and in Transit and Orientation Centres. This centre, run by a local association and supported by the ICRC, receives former child soldiers with particular mental issues. Children are made aware of potential problems they could face when returning to their communities and how to deal with specific situations back home through an interactive discussion supported by images they are asked to describe.
