Chikurubi farm prison. The biogas project is aimed at assisting the Zimbabwe prisons and correctional service to replace electricity and firewood with biogas as the main source of cooking energy at the prisons. The project also targets to find solutions for blocked sewage systems and reduce the cost of purchasing fertiliser for the prison agricultural activities. Contractors and inmates construct one of the two 100m3 biogas digesters.
