Description : In this pilot project, the ICRC is distributing 10 home biogas system units. The system turns the house’s organic waste and animals’ manure into clean cooking gas and organic liquid fertilizers. Farmers can easily work with the system and even assemble it with little help. It takes them only three hours to have it installed in the farm. Using this device saved 2/3 of the cooking gas cylinder (12 kilos), which is the average of a family’s monthly consumption of gas.
