"We fled because of the bombing of our house and fear for the lives of our children. Now we live in the Al Dhahi area, in the house of a close relation. My husband worked at the Yamani plant but after the factory was destroyed, we no longer had any source of income. He goes out to the market to look for work but he often returns without any gain", she says. "We eat bread and tea every day, and for a long time no other food has entered our house. If our children are sick, we cannot provide them with medicine", she adds. The children stopped school this year but their parents hope to enroll them next year.
