Monthly report No. 6 of the ICRC delegation to the State of Israel. April 1950, extract:
"The ICRC delegation to the State of Israel is helping to move some of the equipment from Leper Home to the village of Beit Jala near Bethlehem in Jordan. The Leper Home being a German Lutheran institution, it falls under the law of enemy property, for which properties and furnishings are therefore liable to be confiscated by the State of Israel. Under the auspices and protection of the ICRC delegation in Israel, the Lutheran World Federation managed to move some of the goods to Jordan."
