Description :
The camp is home to more than 2,000 people, including 400 families and many displaced persons. An engineer from the Coastal Municipalities Water Utility explains: ’With the crowdedness of people in the Southern areas of the Gaza Strip and lack of water as many wells were damaged, there is a huge demand on potable and domestic water.’
The ICRC together with the Coastal Municipalities Water Utility provides this camp every day with 20,000 liters of water to facilitate the internally displaced person's access to water.
