Description :
The ongoing armed clashes in several areas of South Kivu continue to claim victims and force thousands of families, stripped of everything, to flee along the paths of exile. Whether they have sought refuge in other parts of eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) or in neighboring countries, many have lost all contact with their loved ones during their escape. Teams from the ICRC, along with those from the Red Cross Societies of the DRC, Burundi, and Rwanda, are actively working to restore family links and provide medical care to the injured.
