Description :
The plant supplies drinking water to more than 3.2 million people, according to the Ministry of Energy. Over the past ten years, the ICRC has conducted several interventions to support the people relying on the Khafsa Water Treatment Plant during the intense conflict and the various challenges it brought. This support included the supply of chlorination materials for treatment, the provision of spare parts and repair equipment, as well as other emergency and sustainable interventions aimed at maintaining the station's good operational condition and ensuring the quality of the treated water.
