Description :
ICRC support consists of on-the-job training as well as instruction in physiotherapy and in prosthetics and orthotics. The ICRC also provides components for manufacturing prostheses and orthoses and contributes to repairs to the premises and to running costs.
Here an ICRC physiotherapist helps a bilateral amputee who is learning to use his new prostheses.
