Puntland, Balin Shillin. A cyclone forced some 10,000 Somali families to flee their homes. A family with about 150 goats and sheeps lost it all. The only remaining goat has a broken neck. The family fed it and tried to treat its injury.

Description :
The cyclone contaminated local drinking-water wells and ruined any chance of a harvest for many local farmers. The ICRC and Somali Red Crescent are distributing emergency aid to more than 4,000 of the most vulnerable families.
