Description :
The essential household items consisted of blankets, shawls, mats, kitchen sets, hygiene kits, tarpaulins, jerrycans and washbasins.
The cyclone contaminated local drinking-water wells and ruined any chance of a harvest for many local farmers. The ICRC and Somali Red Crescent are distributing emergency aid to more than 4,000 of the most vulnerable families.
