Description : The hospital is run by the Somali Red Crescent Society (SRCS) with the support of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
The hospital was equipped with a new operating theatre by the ICRC to adequately handle procedures on weapon-wounded patients. To maintain a quality standard of care, Keysaney hospital integrate ICRC surgical guidelines and protocols for war wounded and guidelines for non-war wounded patients. In order to keep a follow up on this, Health delegates from ICRC Somalia delegation frequently conduct a visit to the hospital.

Since 1992, the hospital has admitted nearly 180,000 patients and assisted more than 84,000 weapon-wounded patients. The new surgical operating theatre built by the ICRC in 2014 has improved the facility's capacity to respond to emergencies. […] ”
