Description : The hospital is run by the Somali Red Crescent Society (SRCS) with the support of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
The spate of attacks and bombings has left thousands wounded in dire need of medical help. There were shortages of medical doctors and this has kept Dr. Ahmed Mohamed, alias Tajir, focused and be part of changing lives of the community. Keysaney hospital began making use of the Operation Theatre since 2014. Since then, the hospital carried out 555 surgical operation for weapon wounded patients. The hospital has 118 clinical staff. In times of medical emergencies, ICRC support with drugs and consumable materials according to number of patients urgently admitted.
