Ganyiel, ICRC field hospital. This woman was evacuated together with her husband and her 10-year-old son to ICRC’s hospital after their village was attacked at night and they were shot. One of their six children, a seven-year-old boy, was killed. By the time she was evacuated, her leg had become badly infected and there was no option but to amputate it.
