Description :
This man is an example of Palestinian youth in Gaza, who struggle to find a living for themselves and their families, which are usually more than five people. According to official figures, the unemployment rates in Gaza are the highest in the world, where 44% of the population entitled as working power do not have sustainable jobs. This put a lot of pressure on breadwinners for not being able to provide a decent life for their families. This man gets approximately 70 shekels (20 USD) for working three to five hours. In best case scenario, he works 20 days a month.

Similar to all families in Gaza Strip, he and his family have their own daily struggles to accomplish the very simple daily tasks due to the continuous power cuts that could reach up to 20 hours a day. Missing opportunities to travel abroad and participate in international and regional performance shows, due to the restrictions on movement and the instability of Crossings opening, adds to the hardships of life he has been through.
