Description : Spreading the correct information, listening to people and encouraging them to seek care rapidly are central to containing the Ebola outbreak. The better people know how to react to first symptoms and what they are, the better their chances of survival are since speed is of the essence when fighting the Ebola virus. By mid-November, more than 360 Red Cross volunteers, who come from Ebola-affected communities, have been trained in community engagement.
