Description :
Since the first reported cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar in March, the ICRC supports two quarantine centers with hygiene supplies, washing stations, partitions, and posters with essential prevention information.
Teams were able to offer additional handwashing stations, liquid soap, and tents this week, to ease the process of diagnosis and treatment of those affected by COVID-19 at these quarantine centers. The ICRC also supported the Department of Disaster Management with extra hand washing stations and liquid soap for use at the COVID-19 toll gates. In Shan and across Myanmar, the ICRC will continue support state authorities and the Ministry of Health & Sports in their efforts to prevent and mitigate the effects of COVID-19.
