Description :
From an early age, he underwent several operations in the hope of improving his mobility. Three years ago, Hassan's life took a positive turn thanks to the Red Cross Physical Rehabilitation Centre, where he was fitted with a special motorised device that enables him to walk more easily.
This device, carefully designed to meet his particular needs, has become an essential part of his daily life. As Hassan grows, the centre regularly adjusts and improves the device to ensure it continues to meet his needs.
As the new school year approaches, Hassan is very excited. He can't wait to go to school on his own, like his classmates. ‘I can't wait for school to start,’ he says with a smile. ‘The device helps me walk to school and I can't wait to be there with my teacher Zahraa.
For Hassan, school is not just a place of learning; it represents independence and success. ‘I want to become a doctor and physiotherapist,’ he says. ‘I want to help others, just as I've been helped.
The physical rehabilitation machine that now enables him to walk to school is more than just a tool, it's a symbol of hope and possibility. As he embarks on a new school year, Hassan takes with him not only his books and exercise books, but also lessons in resilience and solidarity.
