Description : Here we look at how the ICRC has managed more and more needs and widened the scope of its humanitarian response over 150 years. We go from emergency response and survival to more intangible needs, such as the need for dignity and participation.

Visitors can have a look at the type of practical equipment and supplies used by the ICRC in the field. Medical equipment, food supplies, and a water pump are among the objects displayed in this section.

The “Humanizing War?” exhibition takes a look at the evolution of the ICRC as well as the evolution of the challenges it faces. The exhibition is part of the “150 years of humanitarian action” project. At the heart of this exhibition are the human interactions that take place between the belligerents, the victims and the ICRC employees.
