The Exhibition match was jointly organized by the ICRC and ASEAN Malaysia National Secretariat, in conjunction with the ASEAN Disability Forum 2015 and had a vocal audience of over 100 guests from government, agencies and various disabled organisations. The Minister of Women, Family and Community Development, YB Datuk Seri Rohani Karim officiated the event. Speaking at the event, ICRC Head of Regional Delegation Kuala Lumpur talked of the support ICRC received from the ASEAN National Secretariat, saying “We are particularly pleased with this collaboration especially in support of ASEAN’s vision for a people-oriented, people-centred ASEAN Community where all people, stakeholders and sectors of society can contribute to and enjoy the benefits from a more integrated and connected Community encompassing enhanced cooperation in the political-security, economic and socio-cultural pillars for sustainable, equitable and inclusive development”
