Description :
Health Care in Danger in Wau has initiated a project where volunteers from the South Sudan Red Cross Society are using theatre to raise awareness about protection of health care workers and health facilities. The South Sudan Red Cross Society already have an active theatre group in Wau, with 35-40 volunteers. Normally, this play is conducted by nine actors and three technicians who travel to different locations each week to perform. The Health Care in Danger project started working with the theatre group in June 2017 and the aim is to expand the initiative to different areas in the region. The ICRC coordinates the locations of the play and arranges the schedule.
