Description :
Amra is a mother to two children, striving to provide for her family.
Forced to flee their village due to the conflict, she and her family found themselves displaced for a year. Upon their return, they faced not only the continued fear due to conflict but also the threat of explosive remnants scattered throughout their land.
Tragedy struck when her son was injured in an accident caused by one of these explosive remnants.
Frightened by the incident, she no longer dared to go onto her land for fear of further danger, and was unable to plough until the ICRC came to clear the remains of munitions of war in front of her house.
She can now work the land again alongside her children and earn a living.
