Description : Randa struggles to provide for her family, as her husband is unable to work due to ill health. She works long hours in the fields and does housework, but her income barely covers the family's basic needs. Her eldest daughter, Fatme, has taken on many responsibilities for her siblings, but dreams of continuing her studies. Despite the difficulties, they remain hopeful of a better future, wishing for simple things like electricity and drinking water, and hoping that the father will regain his health and contribute to the family's life.

By 2026, more than 100,000 residents of Arsal should have better access to drinking water as part of a project to restructure the city's water services. This initiative is supported by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy and Water, the Bekaa Water Establishment and the governorate of Baalbek-Hermel, with financial backing from the French Development Agency (AFD).
