Description :
The lack of water has made her situation even more difficult. To alleviate the situation, the ICRC, with financial support from the French Development Agency (AFD) and in collaboration with local stakeholders, is working to set up a drinking water access system for the region.
By 2026, more than 100,000 residents of Arsal should have better access to drinking water as part of a project to restructure the city's water services. This initiative is supported by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy and Water, the Bekaa Water Establishment and the governorate of Baalbek-Hermel, with financial backing from the French Development Agency (AFD).
