Description :
Armed violence creates a series of obstacles for people trying to have access to essential public services, for the workers who are trying to provide them and even for the authorities trying to run them. The Programa Acesso Mais Seguro (AMS) – (Safer Access Program for Essential Public Services), developed by the ICRC, seeks to mitigate the consequences of armed violence for professionals and the population they serve. And for that, the program aims to strengthen the capacity of public institutions within the context of armed violence and crisis management.
