She has been working at Fizi Hospital for two months and has attended three training sessions provided by the ICRC, focusing on patient monitoring, infection control and prevention, as well as proper techniques for medical waste disposal.
"Sometimes we work in the operating room until 11 p.m., and once, I participated in a surgery that lasted from 3 p.m. to 1 a.m. We are seeing more and more severe injuries caused by drone attacks, and I try to reassure the patients before their surgery. They can be very stressed or believe they are going to die. So, I talk to them, explain what is going to happen, and tell them there is no need to worry."
