Description :
“We were hiding at home, but he stood up to run away, and so was hurt by a bullet. Others in the village, including his teacher came and helped carry him to the health centre. It was 5 kilometres away. We stayed there for 1 week while they stabilised him. A CICR ambulance brought him to the hospital for better care. I was so nervous, and kept him in my thoughts while he had surgery”. Ebwela himself says he is excited to get home to his brothers and sisters, but sad he will not be able to play football anymore.
