Description :
Selemane left his home in Mocimboa da Praia when the conflict intensified and for four years he was out of sight. In 2024 she returned to her home area and tried to normalise her life, having lost everything she had when her house was burnt down as a result of the armed conflict. Together with his family, he tries to start again, but his basic needs speak louder. Having received a kit of household essentials, he can already see room for improvement: at least there are pans, a blanket, a tarpaulin to cover the roof of the hut, a sleeping mat, soap and a mosquito net, as well as a bucket.
