Description :
The Holy Defence Museum was inaugurated on 16 March 2006 by ICRC head of delegation Peter G. Stocker and the National Society branch director general Dr Homayoom Yousefi. On the same day, ICRC delegates visited Shalamcheh, which is located on the Iran-Iraq border and was a battle site during the war (1980-1988).
