Description :
The signing of a peace agreement in August 2005 between the Indonesian government and the Free Aceh Movement (GAM) armed group in Helsinki has opened a new chapter in Indonesia's history. For the Acehneses, however, prosperity is a long way to go. The ICRC is helping the Acehnese who survived three decades of armed conflict to rebuild their homes and their lives.
