Description :
This woman lost a leg during a bombing raid in the first Gulf war; when that happened, her husband left her. The ICRC helped her: first, by arranging for her physical rehabilitation at an orthopaedic centre; and then, by giving her a camera, a computer and a printer. She was able to start her own business, which consists of photographing events and people in her community.
