Description :
Imagine that one day you have to leave your normal life behind and flee without documents, money or personal things because episodes of violence are taking place in your town. These people saw how
their family were killed during the attack and had to run away under the heavy rain, trekking three days in the mountains without food or water until they reached the safe camp where they are trying to survive now.
ICRC website, article of the 20th May 2015:
“When families flee their homes, they can no longer tend their fields. When agricultural production drops, trade falls off; a sweeping, downward economic spiral. And when families flee their homes, they get split up. Many displaced people are hosted in villages and towns. This puts a burden on those communities as well.
