Description : The government, the Central African water distribution company (SODECA), the Central African Red Cross Society and the ICRC offer assistance to the internally displaced persons. The ICRC installed a water system with a capacity to hold 70,000 liters, distributed to 12 different tanks. Each tank can hold up to 15,000 liters, but the water is rapidly consumed by the people.
Residents use this water for drinking, washing, cooking, among other domestic uses.
