Description : Gislain, 29 years old and Rovaline, 28 years old are husband and wife. They have been living in the M'Poko camp since the 5th December 2013 when their neighborhood was attacked. They escaped and are now afraid to go back to their home. They have 3 children and are living thanks to their fields and pigsty. Gislain is a ' com zone' which means one of the responsible of his zone in the camp that is divided in ten or so different zones. If their is an issue, it's him who will see the NGO's in order to report the problem faced in his zone of the camp.
The government, the Central African water distribution company (SODECA), the Central African Red Cross Society and the ICRC offer assistance to the internally displaced persons.
The ICRC installed a water system with a capacity to hold 70,000 liters, distributed to 12 different tanks. Residents use this water for drinking, washing, cooking, among other domestic uses.
