Description : Mallam lost several members of her family, including a 6-month-old granddaughter. Her 10-year-old son, seated to her left, lost his left arm due to injuries that could not be treated in time. The population of the village of Garin Wanzam swelled in 72 hours from 1,500 to 30,000 as displaced people fleeing attacks in Bosso, Yebi, and Toumour arrived there.
