Description :
Cyclone Idai brought torrential rains and winds, causing thousands of deaths, flash flooding and massive destruction of habitats and fields in March 2019. The populations have sought refuge in the highlands following the cyclone, leaving their places of origin uninhabited and resettling in camps managed by the Government in most cases. Bairro de Unidade is now home to 322 families.
